I am happy to announce that in an attempt to protect sensitive and personal information contained within the documents recorded for public record, my office is now redacting sensitive information from the records provided via our internet search.  We are still in the process of reviewing our records and redacting sensitive information. Our hope is to have all historical electronic records processed within the next couple of weeks. If you find a record containing sensitive information that has not been redacted, please contact our office at (816) 407-3550.

The original documents maintained by our office are not modified during the redaction process. Non-redacted copies of the original documents can still be obtained in our office.  We still ask that sensitive information such as Social Security Numbers not be included on documents recorded for public record in our office.
